Bruce Keith is Professor of Sociology in the Department of Systems Engineering and Director of Academic Enrichment and Global Partnerships in the Center for Nation Reconstruction and Capacity Development at the United States Military Academy. His current activities focus on the design and implementation of developmental models capable of building sustainable capacity in individuals, organizations, and countries. He has been employed at West Point since 1996, spending the last ten years as the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. During this time, he has taught courses in Probability and Statistics, Applied Statistics, Social Research Methods, Social Inequalities, Introductory Sociology, and Statistics for Engineers. He also taught a research methods/statistics course to graduate students at the Institute for Peace and Security Studies at Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia during January 2011. His research activities center on higher educational organizations with a focus on community colleges, institutional status, academic quality, student outcomes assessment, and accreditation.
