Xiaojun Luo

Xiaojun Luo received his B.S. degree in organic chemistry from Sichuan University in 1995. In 2001, he completed an M.S. degree in geochemistry in Institute of Geochemistry, CAS, then he moved to Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, CAS and gained his Ph.D. degree on PAHs and OCPs in sediments from the Pearl River and the Pearl River Estuary in 2004. He took up his present post in September 2004. His research interests focus mainly on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) in the environment with specific focus on bioaccumulation and biotransformation of halogenated flame retardant, environmental fate, and behavior of POPs in sediments.
