Myung G. Lee
Myung G. Lee works as a Professor of pharmacokinetics at the College of Pharmacy, The Catholic University of Korea, Bucheon, Gyeonggi-Do, Republic of Korea. In 1970, he gained his M.S. degree in pharmacology (pharmacodynamics), Seoul National University, Seoul, Republic of Korea; the dissertation titled "Studies on the synthesis of N,N’-disubstituted thiourea derivatives and their antibacterial, antitumor, and anticancer activities", major advisor: Yun Sung Chough, Ph.D. He received his Ph.D. degree in pharmacy (pharmacokinetics) in 1982 from the University of Illinois at Medical Center, Chicago, Ill, USA; the dissertation titled "Absorption and disposition of furosemide", major advisor: Win L. Chiou, Ph.D. Since 2010, he has been a Distinguished Professor, then a Dean of the College of Pharmacy, The Catholic University of Korea. Between 1986 and 2010, he served as a Professor at the College of Pharmacy, Seoul National University. Lee is the Guest Editor of Biopharmaceutics & Drug Disposition and Special Topic Issue on Analytical Development Biopharm, Drug Dispos., 2001. He is/was a Member of the Editorial Boards of Drug Metabolism and Disposition (1997–2002); Biopharmaceutics & Drug Disposition (since 1994); Current Clinical Pharmacology (since 2006); Medicinal Chemistry (Indian) (since 2006); Xenobiotica (2011; invited on 17th September 2010); World Journal of Pharmacology (2011; invited on 28th December 2010); World Journal of Diabetes (2011; invited on 29th December 2010). Lee published in several international journals, 351 (SCI).
