Nantel Bergeron

Nantel Bergeron is a Full Professor of Mathematics, York University, Canada. His area of specializations is algebraic combinatoric, combinatorial Hopf algebras, representation. He has a Ph.D. degree in mathematics: algebraic combinatorics, from the University of California, San Diego, USA, 1990. He worked at Harvard University as a Benjamin Peirce Assistant Professor in mathematics from 1991 to 1994. He was a Canada Research Chair in mathematics from 2001 to 2011. He received Premier’s Research Excellence Awards, Government of Ontario (2000–2005) and Prix Reconnaissance UQAM 2012 (Recognition Award), Faculty of Science. Bergeron is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Canadian Mathematical Bulletin (2006–2010).
