Isao T. Tokuda

Isao T. Tokuda was born in Marietta, Ga, USA, in 1968. He received the B.S. degree and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Tsukuba, University of Tokyo, Japan, in 1992 and 2000, respectively. From 1992 to 2002, he was an Assistant Professor at the Muroran Institute of Technology. From 2003 to 2004, he was a Humboldt Research fellow at the Humboldt University and the University of Potsdam. From 2005 to 2010, he was an Associate Professor at the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. From 2011 to present, he is an Associate Professor at the Ritsumeikan University. He is mainly interested in nonlinear dynamics and biological systems modeling: nonlinear data analysis, synchronization of coupled oscillators, voice production, circadian rhythms, and neural dynamics. From 2009 to 2011, he was a Secretary of the Research Group of Nonlinear Problem, IEICE. He is an Associate Editor of the Transactions of IEICE (A) and Associate Editor of the Journal of NOLTA.
