Li-Wei Wu
Li-Wei Wu was born in Chiayi, Taiwan, in 1974. He received his B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Chinese Culture University, Taiwan, in 1998, and his M.S. degree in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Chung Hua University, Taiwan, in 2000. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical and Control Engineering at National Chiao-Tung University in 2006. He received the Honorable Mention of the Chinese Taiwan Ministry of Education (championship) in the 2003 Embedded Software Design Contest, sponsored by the Ministry of Education Advisory Office and the System-on-a-Chip Consortium. He also received the Honorable Mention of the Chinese Taiwan Ministry of Education in the 2005 Intelligent Robot Contest. His research interests include robotics, real-time network protocol, embedded Ethernet, real-time systems, and embedded system design and implementation. He is currently a senior engineer in the Compal Communications, Inc.
