Johanna Delladetsima is an Associate Professor at the Pathology Department of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and of the Laiko General Hospital, Athens, Greece. Delladetsima graduated from the Westphalian Wilhelms University of Muenster, Muenster, Germany, in 1976, and she obtained her Ph.D. degree in the same year. She is leading the division of liver and gastrointestinal pathology and she is the Coordinator of Digestive Diseases Working Group of the Hellenic Society of Pathology. The area of her expertise is in liver and GI pathology and her main research interest and publications focus on hepatitis C in transplant patients. She is currently involved in clinicopathological studies regarding drug-induced colitis in immunocompromised patients.
