Weihua Li

Weihua Li received his B.E. and M.E. degrees from the University of Science and Technology of China, China, in 1992 and 1995, respectively, and Ph.D. degree from Nanyang Technological University Singapore in 2001. He was with the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering of Nanyang Technological University as a Research Fellow from 2001 to 2003. He has been with the School of Mechanical, Materials and Mechatronic Engineering as a Lecturer (2003–2005), a Senior Lecturer (tenured, 2006–2009), and an Associate Professor (tenured, since 2010). His research fields cover smart materials and smart structures, dynamics and vibration control, microfluidics, and intelligent mechatronics. He has accumulated extensive research experiences in these fields and has been awarded numerous research grants from a variety of funding agencies. He has coauthored more than 60 journal articles and more than 50 conference papers. He has been regularly invited to review manuscripts for more than 30 international journals and a number of conferences. He is now serving as an editorial board member for three journals.
