Weihua Li

Weihua Li received his B.E. and M.E. degrees from the University of Science and Technology, Hefei, Anhui, China, in 1992 and 1995, respectively, and Ph. D. degree from the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2001. He was with the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering of Nanyang Technological University as a Research Fellow from 2001 to 2003. He has been with the School of Mechanical, Materials and Mechatronic Engineering as a Lecturer (2003–2005), Senior Lecturer (2006–2009), Associate Professor (2010–2012), and Professor (2012 till now). Li’s research fields cover smart materials and smart structures, dynamics and vibration control, microfluidics, and intelligent mechatronics. He has accumulated extensive research experiences in these fields and has been awarded numerous research grants from a variety of funding agencies. He has coauthored more than 120 journal articles and more than 80 conference papers. He is now serving as an Associate Editor and editorial board member for eight international journals.
