Harold K. Simon
Harold K. Simon works as a Professor of pediatrics and emergency medicine at Emory University School of Medicine and as an attending ED Physician at Children‘s Healthcare of Atlanta. He graduated from the School of Medicine, University of Connecticut. He had his residency training in pediatrics at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard University and Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Hasbro Children‘s Hospital/Brown University. In addition, he received an Executive MBA from Emory University. He has published extensively in the fields of pediatrics and emergency medicine including the areas of injury prevention, house-staff education, quality of care, and resource utilization. He also serves as the Vice-Chair for Faculty for the Department of Pediatrics at Emory and as a Co-Chair with the Scientific Advisory Committee, Emory‘s Atlanta Clinical and Translational Science Institute, Clinical Research Network. He works as the Associate Director for the Division of Emergency Medicine as well as the Academic Director for the division.
