Mehrdad Hamidi

Dr. Mehrdad Hamidi has got his Pharm.D. (1993) and Ph.D. (1999) from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Iran. He spent two Posdt-Doc perids in University of Alberta, Canada (1999-2000) and University of Toronto, Canada (2000-2002). Currently, he is a Professor of Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology and Dean in School of Pharmacy, Zanjan University of Medical Sciences, Zanjan, Iran. Dr. Hamidi has published several papers in world-class journals among them highly-cited review articles published in top-of-the-field journals can be seen, two of them selected as hottest papers of Informa Helthcare (2007-2008) and Elsevier (2009-2010). He has also published one book and three chapters in books published by the most famous publishers in the world. Dr. Hamidi's main research field is nantechnology-based drug delivery systems, mainly using the possibilities of nanoparticulate systems for the enhancement of the brain penetration of the drugs. Dr. Hamidi is a member of the Editorial Board for 12 well-known journals.
