Gianluigi Zanusso

Gianluigi Zanusso was born on 09/21/1963 in Desenzano del Garda. Zanusso obtained the Medical degree, School information, 1982–1990, Student at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Verona Graduated cum laude, March, 1990, was licensed to practice Medicine, 1990, obtained the Postgraduate degree, neurology residency, University of Verona; Final graduation cum laude, 1994, was a Ph.D. Student, 1995–1999, obtained the Ph.D. degree in neuroscience, 2000. Zanusso was a Research Assistant at Case Western Reserve University, Laboratory of Neuropathology, Cleveland Ohio, USA, 1995–1997 and has been a Researcher at the Department of Neurological, Neuropsychological, Morphological and Motor Sciences, Section of Neuropathology University of Verona, Italy, since 2002. Zanusso is a Member of the Neuroprion Network. Zanusso was also a Member of the “TSE Task Force” of the Italian Ministry of Health, 2002. Zanusso's research interests are human prion disorders and neurodegeneration.
