Giuseppe Ristagno, an anesthesiologist, achieved a Doctor degree in medicine (cum laude) from the University of Palermo in 2003 and a degree in anesthesiology (cum laude) from the University of Trieste in 2007, and he is a holder of an M.D. degree. Ristagno completed his medical residency in Anesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine, Trieste University Hospital, Italy (2003–2007) and fellowship in cardiopulmonary resuscitation from Weil Institute of Critical Care Medicine, Rancho Mirage, Calif (2005–2007). Since 2008, he has been an Assistant Professor at Weil Institute of Critical Care Medicine, Rancho Mirage, Calif, USA, and, since 2009, he has been working on his Ph.D. degree at the Department of Cardiovascular Research, Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Researches, Milan, Italy. Ristagno has experience in the field of clinical and basic biomedical research, with particular interest in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and emergency.
