Knut Liepe is currently the Head of the Department of Nuclear Medicine and the COO of the ZMV GmbH, Hospital Kassel, Mönchebergstr, Germany. He served in 2007 at the University Hospital Dresden as an unsalaried Lecturer. Liepe received the M.D. degree in 1989 and the Ph.D. degree in 2007 with a thesis titled “Autoradiography, dosimetry and clinical application of rhenium-188-HEDP in bone metastases of prostate cancer.” He obtained the Master of Health Business Administration from the University of Nuremberg in 2012. He has 25 years of experience as a Physician in paediatrics and nuclear medicine, 17 years of proven experience in the whole field of nuclear medicine including PET, 9 years of experience at the senior level, 15 years at international level giving scientific presentations at national/international meetings and organisation of meetings, 11 years of experience as a Chief Scientific Investigator on 4 missions, Lecture for training courses on 3 missions, Expert for the IAEA Fellowships Scientific Visit Programme on 3 missions, and preprojects at the IAEA on 2 missions, 10 years experience in training courses for radiosynovectomy, 11 years experience in medical student education, and 8 years experience as reviewer of international journals. He served in 2007 as an unsalaried Lecturer at the University Hospital Dresden.
