Junji Yamauchi

Junji Yamauchi obtained a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Biological Sciences, Tokyo Institute of Technology. He served as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Cell Biology, Nara Institute of Science and Technology Graduate School of Biological Sciences from 2001 to 2005, as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Department of Neurobiology, Stanford University School of Medicine, USA, from 2003 to 2005, and as a Visiting Associate Professor at the Department of Biological Sciences, Tokyo Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2011. His major research areas include molecular neuroscience, molecular neuropharmacology, and intracellular and intercellular signal transduction.
