Jason Ng received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from McCormick School of Engineering, Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill, USA. He currently works as a Research Associate Professor in Northwestern's Feinberg School of Medicine and the Division of Cardiology. His research interests include cardiac arrhythmias (particularly atrial fibrillation), electrocardiogram and electrogram signal processing, cardiac MRI, and computer modeling. Dr. Ng was a winner of the Young Investigator competitions for the Heart Rhythm Society and the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation. He is a coeditor for the book Practical Signal and Image Processing in Clinical Cardiology.
