Gan Moog Chow

Gan Moog Chow earned his B.S. degree in biochemistry and physics (double major) from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, in 1983; M.S. degree in physics, in 1985; and the Ph.D. degree in materials science from the University of Connecticut, in 1988. After working as a Postdoctoral Fellow of the US National Research Council, and as a Senior Scientist in Geo Centers, USA, he joined the Naval Research Laboratory, USA, as a Staff Research Physicist. In 1998, he joined the National University of Singapore where he is currently a Professor and the Head of Department of Materials Science and Engineering.
