Andreas Walter Aste

Andreas Walter Aste received an M.S. degree in theoretical physics from the University of Basel, Basel, Switzerland (1993), and a Ph.D. degree in theoretical physics from the University of Zurich, Switzerland (1997). From 1997 to 1998 he was a Postdoctoral Assistant at the Institute for Theoretical Physics in Zurich. From 1998 to 2001 he was a Research Assistant and Project Leader in the Laboratory for Electromagnetic Fields and Microwave Electronics of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology ETH. Since 2001 he has been working as a Researcher at the Department of Physics at the University of Basel, mainly in the field of theoretical particle physics. In 2008, he received the venia docendi (Habilitation) at the University of Basel, Switzerland.
