Tohru Ozawa
0000-0003-1576-9755Tohru Ozawa has been a Professor of Mathematics at Waseda University in Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, since 2008. He graduated with honors from the Department of Physics at Waseda University in 1984. He received an M.S. degree in 1986 and Ph.D. degree in 1990 from RIMS, Kyoto University. He held a Full Professor position from 1995 to 2008 at Hokkaido University in Sapporo. In 1998, he was awarded a Spring Prize from the Mathematical Society of Japan for his pioneering work on the nonlinear Schrödinger equation. His research interests include nonlinear partial differential equations in mathematical physics and related subjects in analysis.
