Gunar Schnell

Gunar Schnell received the M.S. degree (physics) in 1995 from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, Mass, USA and the Ph.D. degree (physics) in 1999 from New Mexico State University. Schnell is a DESY Fellow at DESY Zeuthen (HERMES experiment); Alexander von Humboldt and JSPS Fellow at Tokyo Institute of Technology with Professor T.-A. Shibata; FWO Fellow at Universiteit Gent with Professor D. Ryckbosch; DESY Scientific Staff. Since 2011, Schnell has been an Ikerbasque Research Professor at University of the Basque Country, Bilbao. His research is focused on experimental and phenomenological investigation of hadron formation and structure. He is the Spokesperson of HERMES Collaboration and Member of AnDY Collaboration.
