Cheng Shao

Cheng Shao received his B.S. degree in mathematics from Liaoning University, Shenyang, China, in 1982; M.Eng and Ph.D. degrees in industrial automation from Northeastern University, Shenyang, China, in 1987 and 1992, respectively. Currently, he is a Professor in the Department of Automation, Dalian University of Technology (DUT), and Director of Institute of Advanced Control Technology at DUT, and Liaoning Province Key Lab of Advanced Control Systems for Industrial Equipments. His main research fields include industrial process modeling and optimization control, adaptive control, and learning control. He has more than 60 papers published in international journals and conference proceedings.
