Carbon nanotubes are cylinders made of graphene sheets, and become metallic and insulating depending on geometries and chiralities. Main interests are electronic structures, photophysics, and electric conductions. Nanographene has spatial dimensions of nanometers. The mechanism of magnetisms and electric conductions are studied theoretically. Fullerenes have hollow molecular structures. The electronic states and optical excitations are studied.
