Chao Zhang

Chao Zhang received a B.S. degree from the Chongqing University (CQU), Chongqing, China, in 2003, and Ph.D. degrees from Technology University of Belfort-Montbéliard (UTBM), Sevenans, France, and Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU), Xi'an, China, in 2008. From September 2007 to January 2009, he worked as a Teaching Research Assistant (ATER) at Technology University of Belfort-Montbéliard. Since February 2009, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher and then a Senior Researcher at Research Institute for Materials Science and Engineering of University of Mons (UMons), Mons, Belgium. From 2014, he serves as a Professor at Yangzhou University (YZU), Yangzhou, China. His research interests include thermal-sprayed coatings, sputtered films, and wet chemical films for functional layers, especially for the applications of solid oxide fuel cells and chemical gas sensors.
