Yasuko Y. Maruo
Yasuko Y. Maruo received a B.S. and M.S. degrees in chemistry from Tohoku University, Miyagi, Japan, in 1984 and 1986. She received Ph.D. degree in applied chemistry from Tohoku University, Japan, in 2003. She is currently engaged in research on chemical sensors for atmospheric environment and on photoreduction catalysts at Tohoku Institute of Technology. She received a Technology award of Japan Society for Environmental chemistry in 2008, 2009, and 2013, a Paper Encouraging award of Japan Ozone Association in 2009, and a Woman ' s award of the Electrochemical Society of Japan.
