Riccardo Bernardini

Riccardo Bernardini graduated in Electrical Engineering at the University of Padova and he is currently working as Aggregate Professor at the University of Udine. His current research interests are Digital Signal Processing (DSP), with emphasis on video coding, multiple description coding for reliable transmission, wavelets and filter banks. Recently he began working also on network-related matters, especially on live streaming over peer-to-peer networks. He teaches two courses on DSP: a basic DSP course and an advance one about filter banks and coding. He has been (and still he is) involved in many research projects at different levels: regional, national and European.
