Jing Ping Wang

Jing Ping Wang is a Senior Lecturer of applied mathematics at the University of Kent. She received her Ph.D. degree in mathematics in 1998 from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, The Netherlands. She was a Research Fellow at the University of Minnesota funded by a Talent-stipendium from NWO (Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research) in 1999. From 2000 to 2002, she was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, The Netherlands. In 2003, she was a Senior Research Associate at the Brock University, Canada. Her main research interests are integrable differential and difference equations, symmetries and conservation laws, algebraic and geometrical properties of differential and difference equation, the variational complex, Multi-Hamiltonian structures, and Bäcklund transformations and soliton solutions.
