Mouloud Féliachi is an IEEE member. He was born in Biskra, Algeria. He received the Electronics Engineer degree from Ecole Nationale Polytechnique of Algers, Algiers, Algeria, in 1976; the Engineering Doctorate degree from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, Paris, France, in 1981; and the State Doctorate degree from Institut National Polytechnique, Grenoble, France, in 1986; all are in electrical engineering. In 1987, he worked with Leroy Somer Company in Orleans. In 1988, he joined the University of Nantes (Technological Institute of Saint-Nazaire) where he serves as a Professor. Féliachi was Scientific Director of Inductive Techniques (LRTI-Lab) from 1998 to 2000 and the Head of the Modeling and Simulation research team, in GE44-Lab, from 1991 to 2000. He is now conducting a French Algerian research net. His research interests, in Electrical Engineering Lab (IREENA) in St-Nazaire, France, include coupled analytical and numerical modeling of electromagnetic phenomena and devices, with emphasis on eddy current nondestructive testing and evaluation. Pedagogically, he is director of the professional license Maintenance of Multitechnique Systems.
