Jonathan Vincent

Jonathan Vincent has a B.E. degree (with honors) in electrical and electronic engineering (majoring in parallel computation), M.S. degree in computing (software engineering), and a Ph.D. degree in computer science. In addition, he has a varied engineering background with both industrial and academic experience in several areas of research and development, but with a more recent bias towards software systems and natural computing (in particular, evolutionary computation and swarm intelligence). Dr. Vincent works currently as the Director of the Software Systems Modelling Group at Bournemouth University, England, UK. He is involved in a variety of research projects, including EC funded IST projects: MDS – Misuse Detection System (IST-026459) and VIDE – Visual Model Driven Programming (IST-033606), and supervises numerous Ph.D. students and research fellows.
