Kilho Eom

Kilho Eom received his B.S. degree from the Department of Aerospace Engineering in Korea Aerospace University in 2000 and his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics in the University of Texas at Austin in 2005. From 2005 to 2008, he served as a Research Scientist and as a Senior Research Scientist, in 2008, at Korea Institute of Science and Technology. Since 2008, he has been working as a Research Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Korea University. He has specialized in research areas such as nanomechanics, computational nanomechanics, atomistic simulations, protein mechanics, and NEMS. He wrote a book entitled Simulations in Nanobiotechnology and (co)authored numerous journal articles in the aforementioned research areas published in internationally renowned journals such as Physics Reports, Applied Physics Letters, ACS Nano, Advanced Functional Materials, Journal of Chemical Theory and Computation, PLoS ONE, Journal of Computational Chemistry, and Langmuir.
