Stephane P.A. Bordas

Stephane Bordas, Ph.D., was born in Paris, France, in 1975, and joined the Theoretical Applied and Computational Mechanics team at Cardiff University in 2009 as a Professor whose main interests include computational mechanics with an emphasis on moving discontinuities (mechanics of fracture, biofilm, and tumor growth), high-performance computing, surgical simulation, biomechanics, microstructurally faithful material modeling, multiscale simulation, and model reduction techniques.
