Massimo Papi was born in Rome in 1957. He is a Medical Doctor specialized in Dermatology and Venereology since 1986. He works as Dermatologist in I.D.I. of Rome since 1986, where is Responsible of the Unit of “Cutaneous ulcers and vascular dermatology” . Co-author of the text “Cutaneous ulcer of the lower limbs” Monti, Saronno-Italy (1th ed.1998 – 2nd ed. 2000). Author of book chapters concerning cutaneous vasculitis, vasculitic ulcers, psoriasis, organic microangiopathy, ulcer and infection, venous ulcers, cutaneous drug reactions. Author of scientic papers published on National and International Journals. Member of the Scientific Comittee and Ethic Comittee of Istituto Dermopatico Immacolata of Rome. Co-founder and National counsellor of the Italian Society for Cutaneous Ulcers (AIUC). “Peer rewiever” for JEADV and Archives of Dermatology. He is the director of the International Congress “Dermart” that is held in Rome at the beginning of December every year. Dermart is an original clinical meeting based on the comparison between colours, lines and shapes of cutaneous diseases and fine arts. The Congress site in Fontana di Trevi Palace makes it a special appointment for dermatologists and art lovers (www.dermart.it). .
