Sofia Nikolaou

Graduated in Chemistry at University of São Paulo (1996, Brazil), I had my phD degree at the same university (2002) on Inorganic Chemistry. Now I´m a full professor at University of São Paulo, in Ribeirão Preto campi. I have expertise on ruthenium coordination chemistry and on characterization of inorganic compounds by means of NMR, absorption (UV-visible and infra-red) and luminescence spectroscopic techniques, electrochemical experiments such as cyclic and diferential pulse voltammetry, mass spectrometry, among others. My actual interest is to develop metalo-drugs based on ruthenium compounds.
