Southwest University, China

Chun-Lei Tang has been working in the research field of functional analysis and differential equations since 1987. He was given a Professor position of Southwest China Normal University in 1999 and was promoted to Supervisor of Ph.D. students in 2001. He was chosen as a conductor for mathematical research of Chongqing City in 2002. Now he is a Deputy Council General of Chongqing Mathematical Association. He was responsible for the research project The Existence and Multiplicity of Solutions for Nonlinear Differential Equations, which was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Dr. Tang had conducted several research projects such as Nonlinear Functional Analysis and Its Applications; Hamiltonian Systems and Elliptic Boundary Value Problems, which were supported by the Teaching and Research Award Program for Outstanding Young Teachers in Higher Education Institutions of MOE, China, and by Major Project of Science and Technology of MOE, China, respectively. He won the third Award for Outstanding Young Teachers in Higher Education Institutions of MOE and the second Award of Science and Technology for Chongqing Youths in 2002. His project Functional Analysis and Its Applications in Differential Equations won the award of natural science in Chongqing in 2002. More than 100 of his research papers have been published in journals, in which more than 60 were included in SCI.
