Luigi Alfredo Grieco
0000-0002-3443-6924Luigi Alfredo Grieco received the Dr. Eng. degree (with honors) in electronic engineering from “Politecnico di Bari,” Bari, Italy, in October 1999 and the Ph.D. degree in information engineering from “Università di Lecce,” Lecce, Italy, on December 2003. Since January 2005, he has been an Assistant Professor in telecommunications with the “Dipartimento di Elettrotecnica ed Elettronica, Politecnico di Bari”. From March to June 2009, he has been a Visiting Researcher with INRIA (Planete Project, Sophia Antipolis, France), working on the topics of “Internet Measurements” and “Scheduling in WiMax Networks.” He has authored 100 scientific papers published in international journals and conference proceedings. His main research interests are congestion control in packet-switching networks, quality of service and service discovery in wireless networks, wireless sensor networks, Internet multimedia applications, Internet measurements, and real-time video processing using cellular nonlinear networks.
