Guy Lacroix has a PhD in economics from Laval University and completed postdoctoral studies at Princeton University. He is full professor in the Department of Economics at Laval University. He currently is co-director of CIRPÉE, a large inter-university research center in Quebec, Canada. He specializes in labour economics, applied econometrics and the economics of health. His research focuses on the impact of public policies on individual behaviour. He has published in The Journal of Political Economy, The Economic Journal, the Journal of Public Economics, The Journal of Population Economics, The Journal of Health Economics, The Journal of Urban Economics, The Annals of Economics and Statistics, etc.
