Monica Nicoli

Monica Nicoli received her M.S. degree (with honors) and the Ph.D. degree in telecommunication engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Italy, in 1998 and 2002, respectively. During 2001, she was a Visiting Researcher at Signals and Systems, Uppsala University, Sweden. Since 2002, she has been an Assistant Professor at the Dipartimento di Elettronica e Informazione, Politecnico di Milano. Currently, she serves as an Associate Editor for the EURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking. Her research interests are in the area of signal processing for communication systems, including PHY-layer for multicarrier/multiantenna systems, localization and mobile positioning, distributed signal processing, and cooperative systems. She is a coauthor of over 60 journals, conference papers, book chapters, and patents. She received the Marisa Bellisario Award in 1999.
