Nicolas Anton is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Strasbourg, Strasbourg, France, team of Professor Thierry Vandamme in the Laboratory of Conception and Applications of Bioactive Molecules (CNRS). He prepared his Ph.D. degree at the University of Angers, Angers, France, (team of Professor Jean-Pierre Benoit) in physicochemical of surfaces, interfaces, and colloids applied to pharmaceutical sciences. He worked as a research fellow in 2007 with Professor Jérôme Bibette at ESPCI, UPMC in Paris. In 2008, he joined the team of Professor Thierry Vandamme in Strasbourg as an Assistant Professor. From an initial formation in fundamental physics and chemistry, he developed an expertise in physicochemistry of colloids and interfaces applied to biomedical sciences, formulation, and design of lipid-based innovative drug delivery systems and contrast agents.
