Klementina Zupan was born in Ljubljana, Slovenia, in 1963. She received a degree in chemical technology, an M.D. degree, and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, in 1987, 1994, and 2002, respectively. From 1987 to 1994, she was a Researcher at the Institute of Electronic and Vacuum Technique. She became Faculty Assistant in 1994 and Assistant Professor for materials science in 2008 at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology at the University of Ljubljana. She is mainly interested in chemical preparation methods of materials for the high temperature, intermediate temperature, and single chamber fuel cell' components including solution combustion synthesis, and precipitation and their structural and microstructural characterization.
