Tomoko Kozu
Tomoko Kozu was born in Yokosuka, Japan, in 1951. She received the Ph.D. degree in pharmaceutical science from the University of Tokyo in 1986. Since 1974, Kozu has been a Stuff Member of Saitama Cancer Center Research Institute. From 1988 to 1989, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow of Alexander von Humboldt Foundation at Professor Klaus P. Schaefer Laboratory in Konstanz, Germany. Presently, Kozu is the Associate Director of Research Institute for Clinical Oncology, Saitama Cancer Center. She has been studying consistently in the field of molecular biology of cancer. Recently, she has been mainly interested in therapeutic application of RNA biotechnology for cancer.
