Chuanhou Gao

Chuanhou Gao received the B.S. degree in chemical engineering from Zhejiang University of Technology, China, in 1998, and the Ph.D. degree in Operational Research and Cybernetics from Zhejiang University, China, in 2004. From June 2004 until May 2006, he was a Postdoctor in the Department of Control Science and Engineering at Zhejiang University. Since June 2006, he has joined the Department of Mathematics at Zhejiang University, where he is currently a Professor. He is a visiting scholar at Carnegie Mellon University from 2011 to 2012. His research interests are in the areas of Industrial Applied Mathematics, Process Control and Mathematical System Theory of Thermodynamics. He is a guest editor of IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, ISIJ International and Journal of Applied Mathematics.
