Yiping Lin

Yiping Lin, from January 1978 to 1982, studied at Undergraduate Class of the Applied Mathematics Department, Kunming Institute of Technology and obtained the Bachelor of Science degree in January 1982; from September 1986 to March 1989, he studied at Postgraduate Class of the Applied Mathematics Department, Kunming Institute of Technology (currently Kunming University of Science and Technology), obtained the Master of Science degree in March 1989; August 1990 to June 1991, he visited Mathematics Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences; from April 1996 to April 1997, he took a visit and exchange with Mathematics Institute, Karlsruhe University of German; from February 2001 to February 2002, he visited the Mathematics Department, Keele University of United Kingdom; and from September 2002 to July 2005, he studied at Department of Applied Mathematics, Shanghai University, obtained the Doctors degree in July 2005. Yiping Lin is a Professor and Doctoral Tutor at the Department of Applied Mathematics, Kunming University of Science and Technology. From July 1976 to January 1978, he worked at Kunming Machinery Factory. His areas of expertise are delayed differential equations, bifurcation theory of dynamical systems, biological mathematical models, and chaotic behaviors.
