Jih-Jung Chen

Jih-Jung Chen was born in Pingtung, Taiwan, in 1966. He received the Ph.D. degree (in pharmaceutical sciences) from the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kaohsiung Medical University, Taiwan, in 1997. From 1997 to 2011, Chen served as a Research Associate/Research Fellow of the Chinese Herbal Medicine Research Center at Tajen University. Presently, he serves as a Professor at the Department of Pharmacy and Graduate Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology, Tajen University. He is mainly interested in natural products chemistry, medicinal chemistry, functional food, traditional Chinese (herbal) medicine, and new drug development. From 2008 to 2009, he serves as a Chairman of the Chinese Herbal Medicine Research Center, Tajen University. From 2010 to now, he serves as a Chairman of the Precision Instruments Center, Tajen University. Up to now, Professor Chen's Publications are more than 80 research articles in SCI journals, more than 210 poster presentations, and he serves as a Reviewer of more than 30 different international journals.
