Wing H. Leung

Wing H. Leung is the Director of Bone Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy and a member at the Department of Oncology, at the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, Tenn, USA. Moreover, he is a Professor of pediatrics at the University of Tennessee. He received his medical degree from the University of Hong Kong and his Ph.D. degree from the Johns Hopkins University. After completing his Pediatric Hematology Oncology Fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University and serving as a faculty member there, he joined St. Jude in 1999. Leung received numerous honors and awards, including the election as a Member of the American Society for Clinical Investigation and an award from the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He is board certified in general pediatrics and in pediatric hematology oncology. In addition, he reviews grants and proposals for both national and international agencies. His expertise is in the biology of NK cells, immunotherapy for cancers, and hematopoietic stem cell and NK cell transplantation.
