Gerald Glickman is a Professor and Chair at the Department of Endodontics and a Director of Graduate Endodontics at Texas A & M Health Science Center/Baylor College of Dentistry, Dallas, TX, USA. He received an M.S. degree in microbiology from the University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY, USA, a D.D.S. degree from the Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, USA, a G.P.R. certificate from the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL, USA, a certificate and M.S. degree in endodontics from Northwestern University, an M.B.A. degree from Southern Methodist University, and a J.D. degree from Texas Wesleyan University. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics (ABE) and is the past President of the American Board of Endodontics. In March of 2012, he served as the President of the American Dental Education Association. Glickman is a Fellow of both the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists. He also serves at the Editorial Board of the International Endodontic Journal and is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Endodontics. He has contributed to major texts in endodontics including the new 10th edition of Pathways of the Pulp, the new 4th edition of Principles and Practice of Endodontics, and the new 6th edition of Ingle’s Endodontics. Glickman’s research interests include nonsurgical endodontic retreatment, endodontic instrumentation and obturation, and risk management. Glickman maintains a part-time private practice limited to endodontics in Dallas, Texas.
