Abderrahim Jourani

Abderrahim Jourani was born in Khouribga, Morocco, in 1961. He received his Ph.D. degree from Université de Pau et des Pays de ľAdour, Pau, France, in 1989. He obtained his Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) in 1994 at the Université de Bourgogne, Dijon, France. From 1990 to 2005, Jourani worked with Laboratoire d’Analyse Appliqu ée et Optimisation de ľUniversité de Bourgogne. He joined the Institut de Mathématiques de Bourgogne, Université de Bourgogne in 2005. Presently, he serves as a Professor at the Université de Bourgogne. Jourani is mainly interested in nonsmooth analysis and applications to optimization, optimal control and economy (i.e., metric regularity, subdifferential calculus, parametric optimization: stability and subdifferentiability, multiobjective optimization, geometrical and topological aspects in nonsmooth analysis, calculus of variations and optimal control, nonsmooth problems arising in economy, differential inclusions, and location theory).
