Adele Bolognese

Adele Bolognese, M.A., works as a Lecturer at the Faculty of Biotechnological Science, Dipartimento di Chimica Organica e Biochimica, Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II. Her research is focused on developing novel antineoplastic drugs and new drug-releasing systems through molecular modelling, drug design and structure-activity correlative analysis. She serves as the Leading Researcher of the SOC group (Synthesis in Organic Chemistry) at the Department of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of Faculty of Sciences University of Naples Federico II, for the synthesis and development of bioactive organic molecules and in particular for new anticancer drug. She was the Chief Eesearcher and winner for three consecutive times of the award for the best research projects in STARCUP, a national competition for technological innovation. She is a Member of the scholar association “Accademia Pontaniana” for her scientific research since 2006 and a Senior Member of the American Chemical Society.
