Wanqin Jin

Wanqin Jin received his Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering from the Department of Chemical Engineering, Nanjing University of Chemical Technology (now the university is renamed as Nanjing University of Technology), Nanjing , China, between September 1996 and June 1999. He graduated from the Department of Chemical Engineering, East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai, China, in chemical engineering between September 1985 and July 1987. He received his B.S. degree in chemical engineering from the Department of Chemical Engineering, Nanjing University of Chemical Technology, between September 1981 and July 1985. His research interests are (1) mixed-conducting membranes for oxygen separation and membrane reactor, (2) organic/ceramic composite membranes for pervaporation, (3) visible-light-driven photocatalysts for degradation of toxic pollutants and hydrogen production from water. He received the following first-class award of the Science and Technology Advancement Award of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association in 2007, (2) the third-class award of the Science and Technology Advancement Award of Jiangsu Province in 2004, (3) the first-class award of the Science and Technology Advancement Award of Jiangsu Province in 2003, and (4) the Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellowship, Germany, in 2002.
