Lew Girod
Lewis Girod received his B.S. and M.E. in
computer science from MIT in 1995. After
working at LCS for two years in the area
of Internet naming infrastructure, he joined
Deborah Estrin's group as a Ph.D. student
in 1998. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate
at UCLA. His research focus is the development
of robust networked sensor systems,
specifically physical localization systems
that use multiple sensor modalities to
operate independently of environment and deployment.
