Young-Koo Lee obtained his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Daejeon, Republic of Korea, in 1992, 1994, and 2002, respectively. He is a Professor at the Department of Computer Engineering at Kyung Hee University, Seoul, Republic of Korea. He was a Postdoc Research Associate at the Department of Computer Science, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Champaign, Ill, USA, from 2002 to 2004. His research interests include ubiquitous data management, data mining, and databases. He is a Member of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the IEEE Computer Society, and the ACM.
