Chantal Tse

Chantal Tse is a Medical Biologist who obtained in 1981 a Doctorate in pharmacy and specialized certificates of clinical biology at the University of Strasbourg, Strasbourg, France. Tse pursued graduate studies in molecular biology at the University of Paris XI (France) where he obtained his Ph.D. degree in 1998. Tse is Medical Biologist, Practitioner in Public Hospital ((AP-HP) Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Paris). Tse joined the Department of Biochemistry at Tenon Hospital (Paris, France) in 1985. Besides Tse's general activities of clinical biochemistry and more particularly analysis of tumor markers for patients, Tse developed a Molecular Biology Department and was involved in clinical research in the field of oncology. Tse was associated with two national projects working on the validation of serum HER-2 ECD test in the management of patients with breast cancer and the validation of quantitative PCR versus FISH for HER-2 status in breast cancer. In 2010, Tse joined the functional unit of neurometabolism from the Department of Metabolic Biochemistry at Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital (Paris, France). In collaboration with a research group of the ICM (Institute of Brain and Spinal Cord), Tse actually works on biomarkers in brain tumors. Tse is also teacher of molecular biology for the higher technician national certificate.
