V. Ya Glizer

V. Ya Glizer was born in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine, in 1950. He received the M.S. degree in mathematics from the Dnipropetrovsk State University (Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine) in 1972. Glizer received his Ph.D. degree in mathematics and physics from the Moscow State University (Moscow, Russia) in 1980. From 1990 to 2007, Glizer served as a Senior Research Fellow at the Technion–Israel Institute of Technology (Haifa, Israel). In 2007, he joined the Ort Braude College (Karmiel, Israel). Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics in this college. His main research interests are time delay systems, singular perturbations, optimal control, robust control, and dynamic games. Glizer is an author/coauthor of about 150 scientific publications. He is a Member of the Editorial Board for The Open Automation and Control Systems Journal and The Open Operational Research Journal. He also serves as a referee for about 25 international scientific journals. Glizer was awarded for the Excellence in Research at the Ort Braude College in 2009 and 2010. He is a Member of the International Society of Dynamic Games.
